   We returned to this restaurant for a second time because our first experience was amazing. We made a reservation in advance and noted our need for certain accommodations, specifically requesting the same server who had knowledge of these needs. Although there were three hostesses seating guests, our assigned server (who was not the one we requested, but was present) was unaware of our accommodations. However, we were promptly seated to our table. We ordered drinks, but they arrived at different times over a 20-minute period. When the server returned to take our dinner order, I mentioned that we still wanted to order appetizers and were waiting for an additional drink. While the cooked appetizers came out fairly quickly, the simple salad took an extra 20 minutes. During that time, we also placed our meal orders. We chose to return to this restaurant because our initial experience and the food were spectacular. However, this time, the food was just okay. I’m not sure if it was because of the overall experience or if the quality of the food had changed. It’s remarkable how much a caring server can enhance your dining experience. Unfortunately, our server, while not bad, was not particularly good either. They seemed to be just going through the motions without any regard for the dining atmosphere. Food is meant to be enjoyed and appreciated, and when an establishment fails to provide that, it can leave a sour impression. I would try one more time and provide the restaurant the benefit of the doubt; but if not exceptional on the next visit it will be the last.

   We love because of so much! They have excellent servers, a great atmosphere and wonderful food. It’s a great place to bring family

   Food was very good. We stuck with mostly appetizers and pizza. The buffalo gorgonzola wings were so yummy. Our server was super friendly. Can’t go wrong

   Definitely a great local spot, always great service, food is delicious, and atmosphere is fun.

   I loooove this place, always enjoy coming here and getting the Antipesto Salad, a new pizza everytime and any pasta , they all have been delicious.

    Pizzo's never fails. With the prices skyrocketing in San Diego (and probably everywhere in the USA), it is nice to have a reasonably-priced restaurant that delivery good-quality tasty food, in a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Their wines are moderately priced, and they have a decent selection. If you love pizza, you must try the San Miguel (spicy). It’s the reason we go there often. Also, make sure to try the pasta arrabbiata. It is not on the menu, but they will gladly prepare one, and it is delicious. What I love most of Pizzos is that they are consistent. Tasty food and great service, all the time.
