The Restaurant at BIÂN is a private establishment.
BIÂN co-founder and acclaimed restaurateur Kevin Boehm, leads the F&B program at the restaurant at BIÂN. It was designed with intention, is ambitious in its sourcing, and contains broad offerings. On-site Chef Ryan Maher, has curated a menu based on healthy food that is still craveable. The menu’s mission statement: “Creating the best tasting food, that still aligns with member’s health initiatives.”

Maher began baking with his Mother at 5 years old. That early passion for cooking led him to Culinary School at Kendall College and a job at the Peninsula Hotel. In 2014 he met his mentor Chef Lee Wolen of James Beard Award Winning Boka Restaurant Group which began a journey with him at the Michelin starred Lobby at the Peninsula, Michelin starred Boka, and Somerset. Ryan’s special skill sets are highlighted in his role with BIÂN: flexibility of cuisine, managing a team, and curating a menu that is symmetrical to the restaurant’s ethos.

    Go beyond the stage and into the creative world of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with the artistic minds behind Joffrey Ballet’s bold Chicago premiere. The evening begins at 7 PM with a welcome drink, followed by a behind-the-scenes panel discussion from 7:15–8:00 PM offering insider perspectives on choreography, design, and the magic behind this fantastical production. A reception will be held until 9 PM. Guests are invited to join us in the private dining room for dinner before the event; please email hospitality@livebian.com to make a reservation.

    Spent $250 for two for Mother’s Day brunch and the brunch buffet was some thing I could’ve gotten at a Holiday Inn. Nothing upscale for the price. Plates were never cleared. The table was stained with permanent water stains. It was the worst experience I do not recommend anyone trying.

    Bian outdid itself on its Easter Sunday buffet. Great, delicious fresh food laid out beautifully. The food tasted as good as it looked. The staff worked graciously on Easter Sunday and they were much appreciated. Special mention for the French toast. Best FT we have had in years. Everything was awesome. Thank you, Cody & Marci

    The food is always spectacular with a seasonal rotation. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing.
