   It was the first time for me and my wife and we enjoyed Gathre. The food was really good and the service was great as well for our first time.

   Location is like many Nashville restaurants, inside of a hotel. This one is situated quite close to the lobby and the hotel bar. We came here for our anniversary. We scouted around ahead of time and found the menu looked good and the prices were very reasonable. We had a terrific guy, Tyler?, waiting on us and he made our evening very enjoyable. Great personality and very attentive. We had the deviled eggs (really good), then split the cobb wedge (really good), then ordered a side of the Brussel sprouts with our entrees (amazing), my wife had the salmon and she raved about it, I had the rubbed ribeye and I probably should not have. I'm a steak guy, eat it rare, and am perfectly content with just salt and pepper. I love to eat the fat on the ribeye and I like it moist and juicy. This ribeye was over seasoned with the rub, it's only 10 oz so really hard to get a consistent temp on a steak that small, the fingerling potatoes had chimichurri on them and then there was an arugula creamed salad. The flavors and textures really clashed for me and I think that dish could be completely redone. In hindsight, I should have gone with the shrimp and grits or the burger and I would have been content. We wrapped up the meal with the banana dessert and it was out of this world. My wife also had two very nice spicy margaritas with tahin rim and she loved it. Overall, we had a wonderful evening. We've gone to 23 different restaurants over the past 23 years of wedding anniversaries and this one was not the worst nor the best from a food standpoint, but the time we shared last night, the decor, and Tyler made this one of our top anniversary evenings. I think all in we were at $220-$230 after tip, which left us with a very good sense of value compared to a high-end steakhouse that would have been $400+ for the same thing. Overall very satisfied.

   My experience was SPEECHLESS, the energy and vibes were everything, from the time I came in to set up everything for my boyfriends birthday to actually having the dinner was amazing. Everyone is so loving and caring and helpful ! If I could rate beyond 10/10 I definitely would and i am recommending anyone to come ! I WILL Be a returning customer 💕

   We dined at Gathre for a special birthday. Charles the waiter was excellent and attentive giving great recommendations. All of the other staff were helpful as well. The food was fresh and delicious, everyone loved their meals. Our table was in a quiet area of the dining room and it felt like we had the space all to ourselves (which was wonderful!) we would definitely return and recommend Gathre to others. Thank you!

   Gathre is all around amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the French toast and the flavor was so so good. The service was top notch and the ambience is unmatched. Every detail was considered when designing the restaurant. I would absolutely go back!

   Restaurant was knowingly serving menu items that were missing ingredients. When we asked about it the manager was very dismissive and rude. The customer service level was extremely poor for what I thought should have been a high level experience for my friends visiting from out of town. From a local, I definitely will not recommend to others.

   The food was really good, just be prepared for an extremely paced out meal. We had a party of 7 and with appetizers and meals it took 2.5 hours. I chalk it up to the ambiance of the restaurant because it was not very busy while we were there. Would not suggest if you are on any sort of timeline.

   We did enjoy our recent dinner on Friday night. Recommend if you are in mid-town looking for new place to try, but keep in mind this is a hotel restaurant & prices might reflect that. The decor & ambiance help make the experience and service was attentive. The appetizers were the highlight, Bolognese had good flavor, but both burgers were overcooked. Drinks were average & on par, but deserts were below average. We might go back for brunch sometime, but too many other new restaurants to try before we return for dinner anytime soon

    The ambiance is quiet and familiar, with music playing in the background. The food was amazing and I would recommend the Shrimp and Grits to everyone!! My husband fell in love with the collard green salsa that came with the Queso/chips. Our food while somewhat familiar, had been elevated to perfection! And dessert was exquisite!!! All In all i will recommend AND visit again!!!
