   This time when we dined in we thought the food was rather oily and rich. They didn’t do anything special for my husband’s birthday. The service was ok until they got busy and only one server seemed to be working the whole outside seating.

   Amazing service and food. The owners are extremely friendly and the ambiance was spot on. The Brussel sprouts were honestly life changing, and will continue to dream about them on my way home.

   Got charged for a drink I didn’t enjoy. Replaced it with a drink that was more in line with my tasting. Served kept forgetting odds and ins… never got my soda water after asking twice… she kept forgetting with place at 5% capacity. Food unquestionable, delicious… the server was still nice but may have a lot in her mind. Girlfriend loved the mushrooms!

   Dinner was amazing, Was a pretty quiet environment (went on a slower night). The Brussels sprouts and butter clams were delicious. The lambs was very flavorful. The Cocktail also were pretty good.

   I had decided I wanted to have my birthday dinner at Cutlery based on the reviews and pictures on Open Table and Yelp. Overall experience was pleasing, but with only a few minor dissatisfaction. We arrived at the restaurant on time for our early dinner reservation at 5 PM and was greeted by a friendly hostess who saw us walking in looking for the entrance to go in the restaurant. She had seated us right away. I noticed the atmosphere and ambience inside and outside was inviting, warm, and relaxing. Our waiter Jeremy did a great job servicing us. We have ordered our appetizers and drinks from the start. They were: Kumamoto Oysters (clean, shiny, and no fishy smell), Garlic Butter Steam Clams (clams were small but the flavored lemon and butter soup and bread that came with it was soothing), and Puleho Tako (it was soft tender on the inside when you bite into it but it had a great taste). The appetizers were nicely plated and it was delicious. Now on to the main course, my husband and I ordered a (2) 16 oz. Rib-eye Steak with sides of Mushroom Medley, Steamed Rice, and Lobster Tails to share. The rib-eye steak was a disappointment. The reason why I said this is because the rib-eye steak was not cut up and it didn’t come in plated nicely on a wooden carve board (how I saw it on Open Table and Yelp pic reviews). My rib-eye was sitting on a bed of over-saturated melted butter, and the steak was mostly fat instead of meat. The side dishes were good like the appetizers. I was disappointed about the steak because it was the main dish that I wanted to enjoy, but I didn’t because after a few bites of like eating buttery steak I just couldn’t eat anymore of it. My husband didn’t eat all of his steak as well so we took home the leftovers. Last, but not least - my birthday desert - I got a Creme brûlée with 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. My birthday desert did not come with a Happy Birthday wording on my plate and this was a first one ever with no HBD. Maybe we’ll be back???

   Service was great! Most of everything that we ordered was so yummy! Most favorite dishes : the pork-chops, seafood pasta, kiawe smoked meat, brussel sprouts, mushroom medley, and the mashed potatoes! Sides should be doubled for 10 people, but the entrees were huge and shareable. Would def come here again!

   this could be a very long review, but basically we got a last-minute birthday reservation and the whole experience blew me away. Everything was just better than I expected and above and beyond that. We went with our four month old puppy and got an outdoor seat. They gave him his own chair, ice water, and a giant plate of steak meant for, I’m sure, a much larger dog.  alcohol menu was extensive and even virgin cocktails were only $6 and so good. The menu is all à la carte and to share. The oxtail ragu was amazing. I was actually speechless at how much meat was on the bone and how it fell off. husband got a large steak and the crispy brussels sprouts were amazing, duck fat fries were crunchy and amazing, mushroom medley always solid. For as much as we were splurging for the birthday with a double scotch and as much food as we got, I spent maybe $100 less than I thought it would be, not even including the birthday ice cream, fantastic service, and doggie extras! Great experience, especially with the puppy!

    I felt misled when I scheduled my dinner reservation. I opted for the standard reservation thinking that at least 1 prime rib will be held for me. The was the main reason for trying Cutlery: “We Kindly Require To Make A Notation On Your Reservation Of The #AMOUNT# Of Prime-Ribs You Would Like To Guarantee For Your Party. If We Do Not Receive Any Designation, We Will Only Hold 1 Prime Rib For Your Reservation As To Not Obligate Our Guests To Purchase For Each Guest Booked. We Kindly Require That You Submit Your Experience Reservation & Any Changes To Your Prime Rib Requests By Latest 10 p.m. The Day Before Your Arrival. Prime Rib Reservations Will Only Be Valid On Confirmed Reservations. Any Cancellations Or No Shows After 10 am (when the roast starts) Of The Day Of Your Reservation May Be Subject To A Penalty Off 100% Of Cost On Your Next Reservation And/Or May Lose Ability To Pre-Order Prime Rib Without A Pre-Payment.” Anyhow, our second choice, the rib eye was nicely charred and tasty.
