   After driving an hour in the pouring rain for what was supposed to be a nice date; my husband and I finally arrived. After trying to find a parking space in the pouring rain, we go inside looking forward to relaxing and enjoying an evening of time together. We find a sign outside the restaurant stating that it is CLOSED, due to power failure. Of course, it didn't seem as though they had lost their power. Of course, when we had made our reservations, we took the 8:00 pm time slot because it was the earliest available, since it was Valentines weekend. I had just received an email, just 10 minutes earlier reminding us of our reservation. If they can send out an automated email and text to remind you of the reservation; it seems like someone could figure out how to send one letting us know they were closed. They could've even called us, since they do ask for all that information when you make a reservation. We were very disappointed and angry about how this was handled. Of course, there was no place to eat at that time because reservations had been booked for days. This is not the way to run a business.

   Never got the chance to eat. Drove one hour and the power was out. Would have been nice for someone to let everyone who had a reservation know they had issues and could have made other arrangements. My complaint is about the lack of communication and not the food or service we had none.

   Disappointed. Over priced with an Appleby’s atmosphere. Off the rotation.

   We were there on a Thursday at 5 pm …the only people there ..it was lovely! Food very good-filet salad and burger. Bartender/server/everything lady was lovely and we had a blast. Highly recommend filet salad. Delish!

   The food wasn’t bad. The setting is just not welcoming as the restaurant is in a hotel lobby. Not a great value for the money. I’m not upset that I went but would not return.

   Dined early (6:00) on a Tuesday evening. Not enough patrons to make being seated in the dining room an option and were told that the menu in the bar was the same and to seat yourself at any available table. Server was polite and friendly. Food was well prepared and tasty enough but presentation was lacking. Filet mignon was served alone on a large plate with no garnish at all. Just a small portion of entree lost on a oversized plate. Unfortunately not very appetizing. Possibly just picked a bad night to try Shula's but probably won't try again.

   Our server, Aquila, was excellent! We ordered the Thanksgiving Feast, and it was perfect! Aquilla checked on us several times and ensured our beverages were full. Everything was superb, just as we expected from Shula's!

   We ate in the bar area. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was good and the portion size was just about right.

    Strip steak and scallops were excellent. Chicken breast and shrimp pasto, however, were merely ok. Lobster bisque was not good.
