The overall experience was ok. The mocktails were way too sweet. The salad was ok and a little small for what they charged. Service was a little slow but they were also very slow with only another table. I know how that goes when being a server and not having many tables.

Adams table is a decent place for a good bite before a concert. Friendly service and staff was quick to attend after a wave and a smile- of course they were busy so who could blame them for needing a wave hours before a concert. Only took away some stars simply because of pricing. I ordered Mac and Cheese with chicken for $24 ($18 for the mac, $6 for a bit of chicken) and it was alright, but nothing amazing for a $24 mac dish. My friend ordered the southwest salad with chicken $23 ($16 for the salad, $7 for the chicken). Also ok, but rather inflated. Wine averaged around $13-14 a glass so we opted for the least expensive bottle. At $40 it wasn't too bad for the Ferrari Carano Pinot Grigio, although it retails for around $14. Overall, not a bad experience, just pricey for the price of food and average experience.

Kitchen staff was having trouble with gas grill but they still went far above and beyond to grill fresh shrimp for our Beet Salad, which is by far our favorite meal! Our bartender was also both skilled and very attentive!

Valet parking is a great perk for dining out on the night of a concert or event. The food was great but the steak portion added to a salad was small & overcooked.

FAQs

Yes, Adams Table is a solid choice for date night. Guests frequently praise the modern, cozy atmosphere, attentive service, and well-crafted cocktails, and the indoor-outdoor dining room gives a nice view of the Orpheum Theatre. Many guests highlight quiet, conversation-friendly seating on non-peak nights and several mentions of successful date nights and special evenings. For a smoother experience, request an early reservation or mention you want a quieter table when booking.

The best time is early evening on non-event nights or about an hour before area shows, many guests use Adams Table as a pre-theater spot. Early dinner seatings tend to be quieter and more relaxed; show nights and weekend evenings (especially before Orpheum or AZ Financial Theater events) are busiest. If you prefer a calm table, aim for weekday dinners or an early seating and reserve ahead.

Portions are generally moderate to generous. Many guests call out hearty plates like the fish & chips, pretzel sticks, and burgers as good value, and several people praised generous steak portions when ordered as an entrée. A few guests noted smaller add-on steak portions and one or two instances of underfilled salads, so size can vary by dish. If you’re concerned about portioning, ask your server about entree sizes or share appetizers and a main.

Yes, the team is used to accommodating reasonable requests. Guests report successful substitutions, order tweaks, and attention to dietary needs; the restaurant notes many menu items can be made gluten-free or vegetarian. If you need a specific table, accessibility help, or dietary accommodation, call ahead and mention it when you reserve so staff can prepare.

Yes, Adams Table has operated on holidays in the past (guests report dining there on Christmas and enjoying holiday specials), but holiday hours can vary. If you plan a holiday meal, call ahead to confirm hours and any special menus or seatings.

Yes, Adams Table welcomes families and groups and can accommodate a range of seating needs, but it does not offer private dining. Guests report families, teens, and birthday groups dining here; the layout is an indoor-outdoor dining room that can be arranged for larger parties. Note that some tables sit open to the hotel lobby or outdoor areas, which can be chilly or near valet activity; if you need a warmer, quieter spot, call ahead and request indoor seating.

Yes, families and groups do dine here, and guests report children and teens attending birthday dinners and pre-show meals. The menu leans New‑American with shareable starters and straightforward mains like burgers and fish & chips, which work well for kids, though there’s no specific kids’ menu mentioned. For younger children, consider an early seating and call ahead about menu flexibility.

They accept reservations and guests recommend booking, especially on show nights; a formal waiting-list policy isn’t stated in the available information. Reviews describe situations where reservations helped (and occasional seating hiccups when busy), so make a reservation for theater evenings and call ahead if you're running late or have special seating needs.

Busiest: pre-show times and weekend evenings, many guests arrive before concerts and theater performances, which creates peak service demand. Quietest: weekday early dinners or off-peak hours when guests note calmer, conversation-friendly dining. If you want a relaxed meal, aim for weekday evenings or an earlier table on event nights.

Midweek or non-event nights are the best days for a relaxed experience. Guests often recommend weekdays or early evenings if you prefer quieter dining and attentive service; weekends and nights with theater events draw larger crowds and can be busier. If visiting for a pre-show meal, arrive early and reserve in advance.

Business casual is the recommended dress code. Guests commonly dine here before shows and often dress smart-casual for the comfortable, downtown atmosphere. If you’re attending a nearby event, business casual or smart-casual attire will fit right in.

The ambience is modern-casual and welcoming, a relaxed downtown vibe with indoor-outdoor seating and a view of the Orpheum. Guests often praise attentive staff, friendly service, and a conversation-friendly volume. Some guests mentioned occasional noise from valet or hotel traffic near outdoor tables, but many also call out cozy, spacious seating and enjoyable cocktails contributing to a pleasant dining experience.
