   Have eaten here before and the food was great. This time it was just ok. In Nashville for 3 nights and this ranked 3rd for our family. The brightest highlight was the service!

   Yolan was exceptional as always. One cocktail in particular was ridiculous “Smoke in the Garden," do try. Our server, Samantha, was top tier. She had great recommendations and paced our meal perfectly. Our party of 3 shared fried olives and beef tartar, followed by the gnocchi topped with truffles (amazing). Our mains included the duck and halibut. Oh and the desert was pure joy!

   Probably the best steak I've had in Nashville. The pasta dishes were terrific too.

   This is billed as a top Italian restaurant but missed the mark by quite a bit.

   Our second visit to Yolon and it might have even been better than we remembered. Starting with the Amuse-bouche that woke up our taste buds. Wow! So good. This was followed by the Pizza Romano. I don't know how to describe something so simple and yet I can't figure out how they got every ingredient and flavor perfect. I had risotto cooked and seasoned just right. My wife ordered a salad. A salad?? Yes, she raved about it. This was not the "big salad from Seinfeld". She raved about the honey in the salad. What a great touch. The meal ended with an Aperitif. What an ending. We don't live in the Nashville area. We flew to Nashville for a weekend at The Joseph and an amazing experience at Yolon. We'll be back to see what the Chef's team has prepared for our next visit.

    This is one of our top "go to" places for special occasions but last night we went for a wine dinner - the first time we have done that and it was AMAZING. The food was outstanding and well paired with the Ashes and Diamonds wines. The service was top notch and the room was perfect for the event.
