   Avoid this place. Way overpriced. Food mediocre if that. Views nice. That's about it. Online pictures are deceiving. Table setup is bad. Bar dining for drink and app is probably fine. Server was nice but not equipped to manage a $500 sized table. Cuts of meat were very low quality with 3/4 being inedible fat. Complained and sent it back and they did nothing about it. Chef's Choice Pasta was embarrassing. Home box cooked quality rigatoni. Seafood entrees were mostly good. Everything else overcooked. Ear somewhere else.

   This was our first time dining here and it was great! I ordered the Waygu Burger and it was the best burger I've ever had in my life!! Drinks were great, service was wonderful and we cannot wait for our next visit!!

   Hostess saves best spots for friends(?) and indoors room is noisy and ugly with concrete floors. If they choose to give you and deck table, sure it a different experience.

   The Rooftop is a popular, hopping spot. If you haven't been there before, you need to figure out parking there. We were able to park across the way at the City Hall parking garage as it was after hours. We had 7 pm reservations on a Friday night and it was very busy at the Rooftop - the young, Friday night cocktail crowd was mixed in with the diners, which made for a busy and 'loudish' environment. Reservations don't guarantee outside seating, but we were lucky enough to get an outside, high top bar table and we had a beautiful view. Wait service was fine and friendly, but not overly attentive or knowledgeable about the wine list or menu items. We were interested in fish options, of which there were many good choices. My friend and I both ended up getting the grouper with beurre blanc sauce, lemon orzo, grilled fennel and carrots. The portion size of the fish was small, but it was delicious. We both thought the lemon orzo was actually rice, but that was good, as were the grilled veggies. We shared the strawberry cake with vanilla ice cream and granola, which was yummy. We were not hurried out as we lingered over our bottle of wine and by the time we left around 9 pm, the Friday night bar crowd had taken over.

   Did a table for 8 outside. Great ambiance. Quick and competent service. Best view of the town and river in Melbourne. Yummy food offerings.

   We had a reservation and we were seated promptly on our arrival. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and nonintrusive. Our drinks, follow by our meal, arrived in a timely manner. The food was hot and nicely presented. Most importantly—- it was delicious!!! Eating at The Landing is “always” a positive experience! The only negative would be that the music 🎶 is a touch loud. That being said, the customers, overall, are in a 25 to 45 demographic and “all” appeared to be having a lovely time eating brunch on a beautiful Sunday Morning.

   I had made a reservation 4-5d before stating that it was for our son’s 25th birthday. When we met with the hostess she paced us at the back of the restaurant near the entrance of the restrooms. Despite asking her twice to switch to another table with a better view she stated that this was the table on “ the rotation” and so we had to take it. We are from out of town and were looking forward to a nice meal overlooking the water. We were on time for our 6pm dinner reservation and the restaurant was not at full capacity so it would have been possible to make the switch. At the time I did not want to complain as my son didn’t want to make a scene. Your hostess should be made aware that customers wishes supersede her schedule.
