   Food was absolutely horrible. $32.00 for 2 tiny pieces of chicken and some rice. $44.00 for a piece of fish. $27 for a bowl of penne pasta with no protein. The place was absolutely empty on a Thursday night. This used to be an amazing restaurant and now is just a joke. Our server was a sweet girl but had no business being a server. She seriously had no clue what she was doing. Not her fault as it was obvious she wasn’t trained properly. Wow just wow! So bad. There are literally hundreds of restaurants to go to in the valley that are way less expensive and have much better food. So disappointing.

   Server was slow. Food was cold. Asked for extra plate, didn’t get it. Asked for honey for a hot tea. Got it when tea was cold. They used to be good, service and food, I doubt we will be going back.

   Easter brunch didn’t offer retire regular brunch items. No choices at all other than the set menu. High price for basic breakfast items.

   Our Thanksgiving experience was great so we were really looking forward to the Easter buffet. It was not a buffet. They served all of the food on multiple plates i’m bringing them to small tables where our party of four was sitting. There wasn’t enough room for a plate for us to eat off of as well as the serving plates. The pancakes were cold and crispy, like they had dried out. Eggs were cold. The pastry was not fully cooked. The vegetable pancake was unappetizing. Everyone enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. But the biscuits were cold. A buffet would have been much nicer and they would’ve been able to keep the food warm.

   We love the staff at Kona, they are amazing. However, the brunch was honestly gross, we got served a table full of food that was cold and low quality for the most part. For a $49 brunch we expected high-level food and at least to be able to order what we would like, not be given One of everything. It was just odd. The staff made it up to us, and apologized. We did not end up eating the brunch we left and went to another place. Still love Kona and the food, but the brunch was terrible, and it needs to be Rethought out at best.

   The food was poor quality, we didn’t even get plates until after the food was cold. The advertisement included cinnamon rolls which they didn’t have. They weren’t even that busy. Total waste off money 40$ a plate, 3 of us, plus extra for prime rib , 25$, super thin cut and over cooked. We will never go back and I strongly suggest if you’re reading this don’t waste your time or money.

   Very good service though it was fairly slow as usual. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was very good or better as usual. I always recommend Kona!

   Our experience today was far below the usual standard. It was well below expectations. Both the food and service were subpar. Because we usually have an excellent experience we will return and chalk today as an off day all around.

   Our server was very sweet, and she did a great job of notifying the manager when we sent a dish back because it was VERY overcooked chicken. Management was super proactive and tried a few times to bring a replacement meal or free dessert, but my hubby kindly declined. Bar service was slow, but drinks were good. I used to love this place…unfortunately it just seems to have taken a hit with food quality over the years.

    Waited over an hour and a half for our party to be served food. Saw a large party get sat AFTER US, get their food, eat, pay, and still leave before we receive anything. Then, when we received our food, steak temps weren't right. But guess what? We didn't want to wait another hour for it to be "corrected" Food portions were so small. One of our guests finished his food in 5 minutes. This place used to be better. Stop making so many reservations and blaming it on the kitchen. You ruin the experience on the guests who book with you. That is on the restaurant and the managers.
