   The staff is very friendly and attentive to my needs. The foods was authentic and delicious. I will be back to try other dishes. The restaurant is very cozy and reminds back home in Brooklyn, NY.

   We absolutely loved it! I wish I lived next door. I could eat doubles and the tiffins everyday.

   No pretenses, just great food. Cane is a charming, quaint restaurant that feels like a Trini eating spot. Fantastic Trini/Caribbean food. I had an order of "doubles," that I shared and some Trini BBQ chicken over rice. My dinner mate had curry chicken. Both meals were superb. The doubles are a tasty, spicy appetizer, which you can order with minimal spice to plenty of it. The service was great, as well. Our host, server, waiter was the same person. He played all three roles with poise and professionalism. Although a small restaurant, you don't hear others' conversations. It is a welcome, sane, DC respite of a place infused with Soca and Calypso "rhyddims" in the background. Cane is a sweet gem of a restaurant.

   The food is amazing! It’s definitely one of the better meals we had in DC! Would absolutely return to this establishment next time we are in town!

   This is a very nice spot.The chicken roti was very flavorful. I let the server know that I am a whimp when it comes to spicyness (heat). He made it clear that the roti was not spicy, but one of the sauces that was served on the side was very spicy (I dipped my fork in it to taste and he was not lying). The server was attentive and we didn't feel rushed.

   We enjoyed our meal; however, it seemed as if there was only one server for the entire restaurant and he was also tasked with being the bartender. Thus, there were a lot of long pauses in the dining experience even though the gentleman was doing his best. Perhaps there can be more staff at front of house?
