Our party of four was in Seattle for a business conference and stayed at the Kimpton Monaco, so breakfast at Marin quickly became part of our daily routine. In fact, we enjoyed breakfast there three mornings in a row, which says a lot. Between the four of us, we sampled just about every style of eggs on the menu—and every meal was consistently fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The portions were satisfying without being over the top, making it a great way to start a busy day of meetings. What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient every morning. If you're staying at the Kimpton Monaco or looking for a dependable breakfast spot in downtown Seattle, Marin is an easy recommendation. Consistently good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere made it one of the highlights of our stay.

An excellent salmon Caesar salad and professional service from a waiter with 22 years of experience at the restaurant over the years. Delicious drip coffee. 2 hour complimentary valet parking. I will be back! (There was even sound batting on the underneath side of each table. I appreciated that.)

Our server Martha, was excellent(attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu). I got the tuna crostini app as my meal and it was huge and a bit difficult to cut. It was overall average. My husband got the beef short rib sugo and it was delicious and very flavorful.

We went to Marin for our monthly girls dinner, and it was such a nice experience to have excellent food at a decent price. My friend has been eating salmon in Seattle for thirty years and said Marin’s was the best she ever had. Myself and another friend had the lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I am an obnoxiously picky eater, interrogate waitstaff on spices and whine about the cost. No such issues at Marin. Can’t wait to go back and get the salmon.

We went and had the salads. All were delicious. The dressings were excellent. I have a soybean oil allergy so most dressings cause a reaction. These seemed made on premises, if not, still high quality. My husband said the salmon on his salad was the best he had in years.

Tasty food, nice set up, good service. It’s a bit pricey (as it’s situated in a very nice hotel) so maybe good for a splurge for a fun celebration. Good tip we didn’t know is that you can park your car with the valet service and get it validated at the restaurant.

We like to come here for Sunday brunch before a performance at Benaroya. The food is delicious, served promptly. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. We need to try dinner sometime.
