   Fried shrimp and oysters were great the last time I ordered, but too much breading and overcooked this time. Sides were great. Other person’s fish and sides were great, especially the strawberry salad.

   Went there to grab some food for the wife birthday. I came close to closing time so I had to order quickly. I got the Louisiana BBQ shrimp as an appetizer. 10/10. One of the best dishes of the night. As an entree I had braised short rib and she had the pecan fried Catfish. Both dishes were highly enjoyable. On the ride back home I kept thinking I can’t wait to come back here to eat again. Would recommend it for a date night or gathering with family or friends.

   Southern Pecan didn’t disappoint. I have always had a good experience and today was no different. I went for brunch. I had a reservation and was late but they were still able to seat me immediately. Our server Ricky was great. Very professional and attentive. The young man who brought the food out was nice as well. The shrimp and grits were great. The gumbo was flavorful and the mimosa with mango juice was refreshing. Please visit. You will not be disappointed!

   Really, really flavorful and well prepared south Louisiana style food. Great service, though our waiter was stretched a bit thin with maybe too many tables.

   My parents came to town, so we wanted to go out to a nice dinner somewhere new! I had never heard of Southern Pecan until a google search, but I will be telling all my friends about it. The ambiance felt fancy but it was still welcoming to our 10-month old son. The food was 10/10, and there were so many good choices on the menu that it was hard to narrow it down. Big thanks to our server Justin, who was so friendly and charismatic, and came with all the recommendations! Cocktails were refreshing, and everything was very reasonably priced for a nice restaurant in Charlotte! This was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in quite awhile, and I will definitely go back!

    The food at the restaurant was superb. Delicious southern cookie and I would specifically recommend the ceviche. The portions were good sized and everything was tasty. The chocolate cake was something to write home about. In all, it was a great experience. My only reservation would be the volume of the live music. We didn’t expect that there would be music so it made conversation difficult. But the music was great so it was worth it.
