   Stumbled upon this place a few years back and have made it a point to return every time we're in Steamboat. Their brunch is amazing, the staff is always friendly and the ambiance is very welcoming. Will return time and time again.

   The chicken breast was an irregular shape and it was dry and overcooked in one side and blood colored in the middle. We addressed it with the wait staff that offered to cook another breast. At that point the other three in the party were nearly finished so we declined. We offered the complaint not to get anything but for the benefit of the chef. As a local it is a favored spot for us next to our church. We were sadly disappointed the manager did not even offer an apology. We had in town visitors I brought. Will not make that mistake again.

   One of the best meals we have had hands down- Denver all the way to steamboat. Mussels, beets, bolognese, olives, sorbet to finish it off. Waitress was great, ambiance was amazing.

   Didn’t know what to expect as I’ve only been there for brunch — but the food was incredible as were our cocktails. Portion sizes are huge, all of the apps are delicious, and this feels weird to say but the bread is a must have. It’s cute and funky in there, the pictures don’t really do it justice. 5/5 would recommend for a date or dinner with the family.

   The food and atmosphere are always good at Yampa Valley Kitchen. Try the Crab Apple & Goats Cheese toast for a starter....or a couple for a main...you will not be disappointed.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers and our dinners! The food was fresh, well presented and delicious. The cocktails were great too with a few twists on the old standbys! The Chai Cosmos was perfection! Also a vert good wine list!
