Enjoyed our Easter brunch of Classic Chicken Salad and the Poke bowl. Both delcious, fresh and light, the perfect brunch - also improved upon by the basket of Cheese Puffs Gougeres! We sat upstairs where it was bright and cheery and also quiet.

I don't like having to constantly seek out a waiter or busboy for a refill of my water. Also, for $36 I'd expect a healthier portion for the beef bourguignon. It's typically made with chuck meat, one of the cheapest cuts of meat. The amount provided was inadequate!

Lovely typical French brasserie a few blocks from the Frick. Tuna tartare was fantastic.

A great lunch after a visit to the Frick. An intimate space with friendly buzz. We shared a basket of 8 gougeres to start and could easily have eaten more. Two of us had great Niçoise salads. It was not too large and had the right mix of tuna, anchovy, potato and herbs for a tasty meal. The other two had a croque madame and a tuna poke bowel which were also very satisfying. Service was friendly and prompt, we would happily return.

We had a lovely family reunion, the food was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and while the restaurant inside was small and the atmosphere was cozy, the noise level was relatively low so we could easily talk. The restaurant did not rush us, they gave us plenty of time to sit and talk after we finished our final coffee and paid the bill, and when the next group of clients began arriving they gave us a very subtile hint that others might be ready to take our table.
