   We had a great time at The Bower last night. This was a specific trip, as we went for Lobster Roll Night. The service was EXCELLENT, and the food was delicious. The back bar is gorgeous with its dark walls and lush greenery hanging from the ceiling. I love the inside/outside feel, and appreciate that they’re able to leave the back doors open and bring the outside in. I’ll definitely return. As tasty as the lobster rolls were, I’d love to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Also, they make a mean Aperol spritz.

   We went on a Monday night and ordered some cocktails and food— cocktails and service was great, but the food was not good. We had the yellowtail crudo and it was so bad we couldn’t eat it and had to send it back, the lobster Cobb salad and whipped feta app was okay, but forgettable. Two stars for the service and drinks.

   I felt it was a bit expensive for portion sizes on most things. The pork belly came with 2 pieces of pork. The chicken parm was a great value though. The spaghetti was slightly underdone. Waitress was fantastic though.

   Food was tasty but I’m surprised a nice looking restaurant can have such a limited menu. There were no green vegetables on the menu nor were you allowed to order any sides. The strict rules and thought of being non flexible ruined the experience. Even though the food was tasty I left hungry and the pasta and potatoes were only seen as fillers not as a main course.

   Sebastian was wonderful, knowledgeable. Excellent suggestions. Main course were fabulous- and the peanut butter ice box pie wonderful.

   Delicious dinner with a fun and interesting menu for our first meal of this trip to Nola. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We dined with family including 3 kids. They made simple buttered noodles with parm for the children which was perfect. The whipped feta was yummy as was the crudo. We also had the chicken Parmesan a few pasta dishes and a very interesting strawberry salad. To finish it off we shared 3 different desserts. All good but our favorite was a peanut butter pie!!! Would return just for that. Two thumbs up!

   Great place for dinner - everything was delish! My only qualms - loud bday party next to us and the swordfish was a tad on the salty side. Our waitress was fantastic! We had scallop arancini / whipped feta / osso buco and tuna. Would definitely recommend this place!
