   We ordered the 11-course tasting menu. The food was innovative and tasty. The service was excellent as well. We will come back here the next time we are in San Francisco.

   3rd time back, very very happy Customers! Excellent service, incredible quality fish and seafood. Sake Flights were amazing- Uni from Hokkaido and Santa Barbara Toast with gold flake is the best. My friend loves Salmon and their sake belly and nigiri killed it. Thanks again for taking such great care of us. We'll see you soon! Truly a sushi Gem in the city!

   As locals in the Mission, we’ve dined at the three higher end sushi restaurants in the neighborhood. By far in our opinion, Sushi Shio ranks as number 1. Our preference is to order ala carte and not the set menu. This way we can select our favorite nigiri and / or sashimi. For the full experience, order the small side of “fresh wasabi” to enhance your sushi palette. The atmosphere is quiet and the staff in absolutely amazing. We highly recommend Sushi Shio!

   The restaurant is quiet and elegantly designed and at an unsuspecting location. The service is excellent. Our server checked in and refilled our water regularly. The food was delicious and plated beautifully.

   truly delicious. An amazing deal of going for restaurant week (I did). Fresh, diverse array of fish, with wonderful and attentive service. my hot green tea never reached the bottom. A great treat if you’re having a night of self care, celebrating a friend or a hot date.

    Sushi Shio was so accommodating for our large group (18) for a birthday. The food was absolutely outstanding, everyone had nothing but good things to say. Will definitely be back!
