   Food was delicious, server was nice, manager was nice overall a great experience. Please add Moscato wine to the menu!! Other then that thumbs up!!

   My experience at Virtue is always pleasant. Joe- our waiter was great. The food was great and the cocktails were great too! Joe gave us great seasonal recommendations and was attentive.

   The food at Virtue is superb. The flavors, the combinations the portion sizes, the cocktails and the elevated service are why I am a repeat customer. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and how the food is prepared which elevates the experience. You can’t go wrong by dining at Virtue!

   10/10 highly recommend! Service, food, and drinks were impeccable. We had the fried green tomatoes, short rib, Mac & cheese, and cornbread. My friend and I agree it was the best meal we've ever had!

   A big disappointment. We had read many reviews praising the place, and in many cases calling it one of the best restaurants in Chicago - and boy, did it fall short. Biscuits were tough, salad under-dressed, an entree of fried mushrooms with spring vegetables was inedibly salty. Cornbread was very sweet, but I guess that's a style (though not a southern one...) Desserts were fine, unremarkable. Catfish with Carolina Gold rice was very good, but was really the only notable thing we had. Besides the poor-to-OK food, hospitality was seriously lacking. I arrived 15 minutes early for my reservation, but they would not seat me until my whole party was there (not unusual) - except that our table sat empty and waiting while I waited. Then we were informed multiple times that we had 90 minutes before we had to give up our table - hard to relax and enjoy with the clock ticking. Again, this might be understandable if there was a crush of diners, but when we got up to leave there were multiple empty tables - it was clear there would not be another full seating. Will not return.
