   Lunch at Becca was excellent, Oysters Becca with the charred wood smoke was a unique presentation as always. The oysters were cooked to perfection complimented with the buttered crabmeat.

   4 of us for breakfast 10:30am. It was not crowded. Service was on the slow side and somewhat inattentive. We noticed we had 2 versions of the menu at the table - same choices, different prices. Ok no big deal. Coffee was not hot. Asked for cream, it did not come until well after I mentioned it. At that point coffee was refreshed but meal was almost over. No salt and pepper on table. Two us were served eggs benedict. The other two orders (french toast and gravy - biscuits) did not come out until several minutes later. I asked for eggs well done, service did not seem to know about that. I sent it back and it was promptly corrected. The crabmeat portioning was a little light. My dish did nit look as well plated as the other. Once everyone was eating, the food was good. It took a long time to get the check. No one thanked us when we left the table or on the way out.

   Disappointing Experience Despite a Promising Setting My family and I chose to dine here for Easter weekend to celebrate both the holiday and several family birthdays. Having visited before, I remembered the lovely ambiance and thought it would be the perfect setting for a special evening. Unfortunately, the experience fell short from the moment we arrived. While Lucy, the hostess, greeted us warmly and professionally—so much so that we wished she had been our server—the rest of the service was noticeably below standard. It’s taken me a few days to write this because I wanted to reflect and share our experience thoughtfully. From the start, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Our waiter handled the table settings abruptly and appeared irritated by even the simplest requests, such as asking for water. What was most disheartening was the clear difference in how my husband, who is a Caucasian male, was treated in comparison to the rest of our party—he was consistently addressed first and received noticeably more attentive service. We’ve had the privilege of dining at high-end resorts, luxury hotels, and even Michelin-starred restaurants, and have never encountered this kind of treatment. It’s disappointing, especially given the venue’s elegant appearance, which ultimately felt like a façade that masked deeper issues with hospitality and inclusivity. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant and we will not be returning.

   Our server Amber was fantastic! Excellent service and the food and beautiful restaurant were exceptional. Our family had a wonderful time at Becca’s.

   Food and service were very good but at the start of dinner the fire alarm went off and proceeded to continue for 30 minutes. We were told not to evacuate that this happened about once per month. It was not an ideal situation.

   Becca is pretty and sunny. Like being in a garden. Service was great. The food was delicious.

   As a long time patron of Becca, I was very disappointed in the crab cake, the recipe has been changed, previously there was only lump crab meat and No filler while adding extra succotash as disguise, my oysters Becca was still with the beautiful presentation, I found the crab meat dry and oysters overcooked. The wait staff was on par as always. The she crab soup was excellent, also with the lovely presentation.

    This was the best experience for my daughter’s sweet sixteen. The atmosphere, the service and the thoughtfulness from the kitchen and the staff with her birthday dessert was truly amazing. And to quote, “that was the BEST shirley temple she’s EVER had!” Thank you for making her birthday lunch a special memory and we look forward to returning soon!
