   Cocktails were creative and the excellent friendly bartender entertained all tastes! Food selection was creative and flavorful. I was disappointed that we didn't end up getting a table in the dining room like we expected with a 9:15 reservation. We ended up eating dinner at a high top in the bar by the door instead. I thought a reservation meant a real table... I know, however the staff can't control when people leave. Our server forgot to charge us for our bar drinks and ended up comping us for them. Not sure if that was to make up for not getting a table, but it was a nice gesture we appreciated.

   Interesting menu with a lot different types of food. Whatever those potatoes are they were quite yummy! I will visit again. I would not recommend bringing young children here. The food is "grown-up" and children might turn their noses up at it...at least mine would.

   Our 2nd visit to Republic did not live up to how great our first dinner there had been. The 4 of us shared 8 dishes and found 3 of them disappointing. The branzino was delicious, the meatballs very flavorful, and the vegetarian pancake excellent. Pot pie and carrots were bland and the salads so-so. They serve family style with the dishes coming out 1-2 at a time. Twice we asked that they slow down bringing the dishes as we felt rushed and wanted to experience the dishes slowly, but they kept coming too quickly.

   Loved the atmosphere. Food was very good. Liked the family style. First time visitors for birthday celebration. Will definitely visit again.

   Had a great pre-theatre dinner on Friday night. All of the waitstaff and servers are very knowledgeable about the food. Very clever and unusual combinations and presentations. Everything was delicious. Our waitress, Gabby, was great and kept an eye on the time to make sure we got to the show on time. Outstanding!

   Tasty food. Our server was very helpful. We went for a kind of tasting menu that they do but where the server chooses. Was good although in hindsight I might have just chosen the dishes I would have preferred. Paired wines were ok but didn’t blow my mind. It was a nice dinner for sure with more food than we could eat but we ate on Sunday and was surprised to find that there was only one other table busy. As it was my birthday we were hoping for a little more atmosphere. I’m sure it was just because it was a Sunday though. I would defo come back and try again on a busier night. I really want to try the cocktails too as I hear they’re great. I was just too full to have one.

    The food itself was unique and delicious. We tried 5 or 6 dishes and everything was excellent. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the fact that the food came out one dish at a time, so that was odd and there wasn't really a good flow to the meal. The cocktails were very good and the prices seemed fair. I would return.
