Lovely anniversary dinner, great ambience, Rhiannon our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. The menu has both set menus and al a carte. Good value.

We had a wonderful meal for a birthday celebration. All main dishes were great with the Barnsley lamb a particular star. We just had a couple of portions of the cockle croquettes instead of starters to make sure we had room for the desserts. Good size portions, chips shared between 3. Puddings were all outstanding! We are planning to return for something off the snack menu and a pudding (or two!)

Always good value at the Griffin. Table ready on arrival and food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. No matter where the table is there is always a screen close by. Good atmosphere.

As I reported over the weeks, booked table no. 36. But no reserved out on the table, with the result we had to try to find a table. Is there any point in booking a table on line.
