Ashford Restaurants

The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and high-quality cuisine. While the portion size for two initially seemed modest, we were unable to fully consume it. Our only significant concern was the extensive wait time; service commenced over an hour, excluding the pre-order waiting period. Despite this, the food was excellent. We may revisit when its less busy.

Lovely meal, servixe was quick, steaks were perfect, love the salt, green beans were delicious as was the spinach but the house salad could be more interesting, that's the only negative and it's not even really a negative just a preference. Would have liked it if a vegetable was an option to come with the steak instead of salad or potatoes but again, preference. I mentioned upon booking that it was our anniversary and after our meal they brought out a small slice of cheesecake with happy anniversary written in sauce. My GF loved it and it was the perfect ending to our dinner. Would definitely come here again for a special occasion!

A beautiful three course meal .The roast pork and crackling was cooked to perfection along with all the trimmings. A stunning dinning room, with an understated elegance. Excellent service, faultless in fact! Great value for money too. Had a truly wonderful afternoon and took our coffees out to the terrace after our meal to enjoy the view of the garden which was a perfect way to complete our visit.

There's no words really! Absolutely amazing. The food is generous, hot and very tasty. Never eaten here before and will definitely be returning. I had the cottage pie and it was just lovely, nice grandma homemade taste to it and my friend had the hunters chicken schnitzel WOW it looked amazing and she loved it, couldn't eat it all though haha Despite being comfortably full, we couldn't resist a mini dessert and hot drink deal. I overheard someone saying their chef had phoned in sick, so instead of closing the kitchen the owners got in the kitchen themselves, that's amazing! Not many places would stay open. I've got a family meal coming up soon and I will be booking New Chimneys 100%

Service not very great, Lady was taking orders, in the middle our conversation she saw other people arrived, and she just left our table without telling us!!! In my cake was a hair !! I will never go again.! Food were nice .
