Located in downtown Los Angeles, Redbird is carved into one of the city’s most historic edifices, inside the rectory building of Vibiana – a premier wedding, events and performing arts venue. Chef | Owner Neal Fraser has crafted a beautifully dynamic restaurant space within which to enjoy Chef Fraser's critically acclaimed Modern American menu. Wine Director Jaime Azrate's wine list is well-rounded with great finds from both established and emerging regions throughout the world. Bar Director Tobin Shea's cocktail offerings feature well-balanced, bespoke renditions of the classics, as well as inventive and inspired originals. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available for brunch, happy hour + dinner.

The Main Dining Room offers open air dining under our retractable roof with views of the Vibiana bell tower and the upper balconies of the rectory building. The Lounge offers dining tables along the banquette and windows overlooking 2nd St.

When I left I thought my left overs food was going to all be at the host stand . When I got home , it seems that my leftover choc tart was not in the bag and didn’t eat almost all of it as I ate my wife’s Ice cream. Very disappointed as that cost 16 dollars . Appetizers beets , octopus and Rolls awesome . Truffle gnocchi great but the bucatini and broccolini fell short of taste.

We arrived a few minutes late to our reservation. We were then seated inside. The restaurant was at a table that seemed compared to the patio. I asked if there was a table outside and only one in the sun. I chose this instead of sitting inside. But we were there for about an hour and a half, and several tables were not in the sun. On top of that, she could open Shade so that we would not be in the sun. I’m unsure what her issue was, but it wasn't enjoyable. The food was good. That was good. I’m not sure why these people have such bad days at work.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, so I finally decided to give it a try. What I can say is that we felt so rushed that we couldn’t even enjoy our appetizers. The worst part was when the server’s assistant took one of the appetizers away, even though it was only half-eaten. I really don’t like being rushed at restaurants; I want to be able to enjoy my meal and have a full experience. Additionally, my pork was undercooked, and because the restaurant was so dark, I’m not sure how long I was eating undercooked meat. They fixed it and cooked it more, but still, to be honest, I didn’t find anything about the experience to be exceptional. The server, however, was great, so this isn't about her
