    We came here for lunch before a business meeting. We ordered soup and salads and the shrimp and grits. Service was excellent - we couldn’t decide between the soups… So the server brought us out samples of all of them! The shrimp and grits was pretty spicy… But we should have known since we were in Texas lol! The ambience was very Texas like and was so perfect for a lunch date :-)

    Food was as fabulous as ever. It’s noisier than the previous location. Our waiter seemed to be in a hurry about everything. Spoke so fast we could barely understand him. Always worth the trip for the food.

    The throwback menu for the 25th Anniversary of the tornado that destroyed the high rise that housed Reata back on March 30, 2000, was great. I had the Venison Osso Bucco, served over grits and spinach. The dining room was packed with people. Apparently, none of my fellow diners last night will being writing a review of this amazing throwback dish because I was the only person up to our 7 p.m. reservation who had ordered it, according to our server! Their loss. It was amazing.
