Rat’s Restaurant is the perfect dining destination. Named for the fabled entertaining character in Kenneth Graham’s children’s classic, The Wind in the Willows, Rat’s Restaurant is designed to give visitors the sense they have stepped into a village reminiscent of the impressionist painter Claude Monet’s beloved town of Giverny. Rustic fireplaces, country French cuisine, seasonal hand-crafted cocktails and an eclectic beer and wine list are just the beginning. Very limited and expensive options for non-meat eaters. Bread was not warm. Toast with cheese platter was cold. Took 20 minutes for server to come over to the table, if we knew we would have waited for that same amount of time for an outside table. When the waitress cleared our plates she dumped one plate of trash into another at the table to stack them. Totally unprofessional.

Our waitress/service was really slow. It took us 35mins to have our check. The food was okay not amazing vs the prices, but we enjoyed the view.

We did the Easter Buffet. Many items were great - the shrimp, chicken tenders, roasted chicken, prime rib. Other items were incredibly dry - carved turkey and many of the desserts.

Buffet was nothing special. The meats at the carving station were all overcooked. Rats is a shadow what it once was.

The food was amazing as always but it was some of the worst service I’ve ever had. It took an hour to track down the waitress for the check and she never, over the course of our meal, refilled waters, checked in or asked if we’d like more drinks.
