Visited here because it was one of the only places in north Toronto on the Toronto life too 100 list. . I’ve been to many of those places and based on the food this place merits a top ten. Great warm asparagus appetizer. Great home Made pasta. I also ordered a steak which to be honest was not great. But that’s not their speciality so I will not penalize them.

What a treat to visit Toronto and find this gem of a trattoria. The owner sat down, chatted with us and enthusiastically recommended the freshest of dishes with ingredients and produce he had personally selected at the market earlier that morning. Everything served was both visually stunning and flavorful.

The Zucca kitchen team members are working very well together. Each has a “specialty”, but they all can cross-cover. Blair, the host, is extremely knowledgeable about wine, and he chose a flavorful Calabrian wine, which we have never had before. We had 2 great new pasta dishes, followed by a crispy, delicious branzino, grilled as only Zucca can do. Closed with delish Gelato from Punto, macchiatos, and an Amaro Montenegro. Service matched the dining experience - friendly, timely and efficient. An all-round excellent meal!

We enjoyed a fantastic birthday celebration for a group of dear friends at Zucca. It was such a special evening. The food, wine and service were all amazing!
