   We had a very nice experience at Zocca. Our waiter, Cesar, was very good. The salad “greens” were the best - perfectly seasoned - a real treat. The drinks, while a bit pricey, were good.

   Our meals arrived cold. Waiter returned them to the kitchen and we had another 25 minute wait before we received our food. Had ordered a second glass of wine and had to wait 25 minutes for the wine to be served. Waiter was nice but it would have been helpful if he communicated what the delay in delivery was. The food was just okay.

   For a restaurant only partially full, service was slow although our waiter was very nice. I had a pasta bolognaise that was excellent although my wife's pizza was just ok. The location next to the river walk was great.

   Amazing service, and delicious food! Julie and Maddy were the bartenders taking care of me, they were super friendly and attentive. JC and Caesar had taken care of the beer event, and sold me on trying 2 of the dishes, they were very knowable and you can tell they enjoy working an event like this. I sat at the bar, and that evening they had a beer dinner with Karbach, and was lucky enough to have been able to try their Porter Braised Oxtail, and their No’mores. The culinary creativity is unparrelled! The rest of the zocca menu is non-traditional Italian, and I cannot wait to go back and try their Polpetta Grande (10oz wavy meatball)!!

   The restaurant’s expectations didn’t align with the hotel’s brand and reputation. The food arrived at a snail’s pace. To top it off, the pizza’s crust was green, a St. Patrick’s Day tradition that should have been mentioned beforehand. If I had known about this, I might have chosen an alternative option, as it was hard for my kids to eat the green pizza.
