   Had dinner Saturday night and was surprised to learn they had a happy hour menu which was an incredible deal. For $20 a person you choose from one appetizer, we each ordered the edamame and choice of two rolls I had the spicy tuna roll and the spicy California roll and both were very tasty. You also get a choice of a drink including saki. The service was terrific and I look forward to returning.

   1st time visit unfortunately will not be back. Greeted nicely and given menus. Ordered drinks and waters which came then looked at menu (finally server came by to ask if ready yes) ordered 5 happy hour rolls. Took over 15-20 minutes to receive 4 rolls and forgot one. (What really put it over the edge and ticked me off was next table that came in after us they 4 orders totaling at least 48 pieces of sushi etc and no problems with their order) obviously they were regulars. Waiter checking in if anything else needed. Not us??? Asked for another sake it was forgotten and when finally sent to table I returned... I finished my roll and was really ticked from lack of service or any communication. Then 15 minutes later another roll came out the one they forgot. We decided not to order anymore food and left. Being in the hospitality business I was really disappointed!!

   Absolute hidden gem! Fantastic and authentic Japanese food which reminded me of my own travels through Japan. Staff was very friendly and the ambiance was great. You would never think such a glorious place exists in that small shopping area but I am so glad I walked through those doors. Will absolutely be back!

   My first time at this restaurant. Fantastic meal! Delicious and fresh! I really like the atmosphere... not pretentious ... warm and comfortable ... and contemporary. Service was outstanding.

   Service started off very slow as they were slammed- every table was full. One the rush passed service improved greatly. Waiter was fairly new so had to ask others, but overall was very professional and helpful. The food was excellent. We will be back.

   Best quality fish for sashimi and sushi in Houston. Sushi Chef Harame always creates a beautiful presentation and delicate handling, seasoning and precise preparation to ensure delectable flavors. There are always very special selections creating a true Tokyo experience. Prices are moderate for very high quality fare. The kitchen is also superb with my favorite plate being Unagi 3-wys.

   I have literally dined at this place about 100 times! This is the first time I made a reservation with OpenTable since they're getting busier and busier. Their food is consistently good and I have a few favorite comfort foods that I always order whenever I don't feel like cooking. The owner and the waitstaff are all super nice and always greet me with a big smile! It's a small and cozy place with limited parking right in the front, so try and go early if you can!
