   Must have cash. Doesn’t take credit cards or debit didn’t have the one vegetarian appetizer on the menu.

   The restaurant is a mix of concepts, hence sending a mixed or confusing message. It aims to present a high-end Japanese restaurant, which targets a certain age group, and animé, which targets a different age group altogether... Now, if you throw the music in the mix, hip-hop and R&B... it goes farther and farther from the intended atmosphere... The service was... poor. As soon as we entered, we were asked who we were, without a proper hello, welcome, etc. after which we were shown to our table by pointing a finger "you go sit there". (A proper hostess would show you/ lead the way, pull a chair and invite you to have a seat.) The restaurant - a Japanese restaurant! - ran out of green tea and... about a third of the products on the menu, too... We ordered 2 bowls of ramen, the chicken ramen. It took approximately 45-50 minutes to get it and it was already cold when served. To my shock, the chicken in my bowl was partially raw. The waitress did come to check on us and mumbled a "sorry" when she heard we were disappointed with the food, but her face told me she was annoyed with our being disappointed. Overall experience: bad. I don't think I will return.

   Very disappointing. There were 6 staff, all very nice, but all on their phones. It took 45 minutes to get our food, which when it finally arrived, was not worth the wait.

   Service was good, however it was slow. Meals can use some work with flavour and texture. Noodles were slightly soggy and broth had no flavour at all. I had a beef ramen and the beef was very tough and dry. Reservation was set for 3pm and we didn't receive our meals until after 4 and for a ramen shop, the food came out at room temperature Overall the experience was fair but can use alot of work.
