   I’ve been here many times, and the food and service have always been on point! Tonight the service was very slow on the patio due to understaffing. Food was still great though!

   Fantastic Friday night dinner! Risotto was amazing as always! Bruschetta, cream brûlée, and black berry cobbler were all so good. Madison was a great server! Very pleased with everything!

   My pear/avocado salad with salmon was great. 2 people got the Caesar salad -one with salmon and one with chicken and didn’t care for it. The other person ordered the skillet shrimp which was cooked with the shell on and was too spicy. I’m sorry it wasn’t as good as it usually is—maybe what was ordered or maybe just an off night.

   It has been many years since my wife and I have eaten at Ya Yas, due to living in different parts of the country. I made a reservation after church and we brought our daughter, who had never eaten here. She loved the old world charm as well as the buffet. The prime rib and the loaded omelette was the stand out for me. Our server was outstanding! Quickly took care of us with drinks, directions for the buffet, because it has many levels, and ordering the omelettes. We would recommend Ya Yas highly. My only suggestion would be a fabric update on the seating and changing the wall colors to highlight. Just a face lift.
