   I would definitely recommend Xport Bar & Lounge! It has such an amazing ambiance with the changing lights, live DJ and two different bars. There is a rooftop balcony that has a fireplace and comfy couches to look at the city. The happy hour menu is such a steal, I definitely recommend getting the chicken tacos!

   The ID checker could be a little more receptive- have t been carded in a LONG time, kind of rude. I wasn’t sure I wanted to go in, glad I did. Just think the first person you meet at the door should be indicative of what’s inside, which was really fun.

   We made reservations. We were seated immediately. But that’s as good as it got. It took about 25 minutes before we got our drink order taken. It took another 10-15 minutes to get a drink. We were denied a side of green olives for our drinks (which i asked if i could pay for them)... followed by over hearing 2 of the waitresses mock us and talk badly about us. Food is amazing but can’t recommend this place to anyone.

   Atmosphere is great. View from roof will be awesome once construction is finished (if ever!) Drinks are great. Menu is interesting and some things are amazing (Chinese take-out was fantastic; weird toast dessert was good and very interesting). All in all, a fun spot for a group of friends to gather after work. House manager was honestly throwing shade all around, so I could have done without that, but waitstaff and service overall was excellent.

   Good prefixe Valentines Day menu and service was attentive but allowed us to have an intimate evening. The ambiance is cool, but no over the top view, there’s no great focal point.

   Made reservations for Valentine’s Day drinks at the bar but was given sub-par service and experience. Host as the front desk did not honour our prior reservation request for a window seat despite multiple opened seats saying that it was “reserved”. Didn’t get an explanation on what “reserved” meant as we also reserved out seat with prior request on seating arrangement too. My partner and I saw multiple people who came in after us getting seated at the window seats and were puzzled with what prior arrangements were needed. Ended up at a 4 person round dining table, chucked down our cocktails and left with a bad aftertaste of the experience. Our server came over at least 4 times asking if we wanted food despite us mentioning that we were only there for drinks when we were seated. Impersonal, standoff-ish service. While the interior and location of the bar is cool and interesting, the undesirable service and treatment gave us a bad experience. Wouldn’t return to this place or recommend anyone wanna to make it too “special” as expectations cannot be met.

   It was a fun ambience but I felt the food portions were small. Cocktails and service were great! I’m happy we caught the happy hour discount too!

   The main reason I chose the Xport bar was location. The view of Mount Hood can be lovely. The new buildings have rendered the veiw difficult if not impossible. The happy hour vittles were creative and, well, okay...not great. The asian take out option was a head scratcher, not sharable and not enough food to even call it a serving. The drinks were great, I had a Pisco sour, then a beer. The wine selection was great. The real problem was the noise level. The music blared at 5:30pm (why?), then the people density was such that everyone was elbow to elbow and they kept the bar side of the lounge closed. If the people were spread out, it would have been far more enjoyable to commune with friends.

    This was our first time at xport bar & lounge, we loved the specialty drinks and the happy our food was really good, we’ll be going there more often.
