   Very innovative and well-prepared food, but not particularly memorable. The dining area is quite loud, although the space is attractive and well laid out. Nice to have a Mexico City approach to dining.

   We had an excellent meal, very authentic Mexican food. Our waiter was very helpful in describing the menu and every dish was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   I’m gonna be honest, we had really high hopes because of our experience at their other concepts but this meal missed the mark on several notes. First they sent out house-made tortillas with butter. It was extremely dry and bland. Don’t think just because there’s a rocher of butter that it’s an impressive dish, because it’s not. They should serve those with a salsa or mole, if they’re gonna do that. not butter. We ordered bone marrow and ceviche. The bone marrow came out with 2 bones but one of them was COMPLETELY bare and dry and was smothered in mushrooms as if to hide the fact that there was absolutely not a single bite of marrow on that bone. The other bone only had one tiny scoop of marrow on it, so only one of us got to actually eat marrow for $30! Also the presentation of putting the bones on top of corn kernels seems wasteful since you can’t eat dry corn kernels. The ceviche was nice, presentation beautiful, way too spicy for the regular Chad though. We enjoy heat so it was good for us. Service was just ok. Pretty inattentive, i had a cocktail and our server never checked in to see how our food was or if we needed a refill. So we finished and sat there for 10 mins before she came by and at that point, she also didn’t ask how we enjoyed it because otherwise i would have told her the bone marrow was a scam of a dish. We won’t be back here for a while because it seems very undialed, which is too bad. The other concepts are awesome. This one needs a lot of work. Side note: one of the plates came out with a huge chip missing out of the rim. The cooks should know not to plate a dish on a broken plate…

   Very happy with our choice to come try this new spot out. We had a reservation for 4:30 and were able to get a table right away. This restaurant has a good vibe and the staff was friendly. Since we were there in time for their happy hour menu, we started with some of their Mexican street foods. The taco al pastor and taco de carnitas were great 8.5/10. The best one we had was the taco de hongo y rajas, which had poblanos and a good cream sauce 9/10. For an appetizer we started with the pipian verde, which were carrots with a really well flavored sauce 10/10. The next dish we got were the sikil pak, which were grilled beats and tomato with goat cheese 7.8/10. For our entrees we got the cochinita pibil - pork with a really good sauce 9.1/10 and the carne asada cooked perfectly 9.5/10. We look forward to coming back again soon! This is one I highly recommend to put on your must try list!

    Had a wonderful dinner at Xiquita this week. Everything was fresh and flavorful and very creative. Especially enjoyed the ceviche and the carrots. Shout out to Kyle for wonderful service. And, how about these desserts!
