About this restaurant

  • Good for business meals
  • Good for groups
  • Great for brunch
We are located in the Woolworth Building directly across from City Hall and two blocks from Ground Zero. We are a local favorite for City Hall people, lawyers, and the developing Art and technology crowd in the building and the surrounding area. Despite our large size, people tell us they find the place warm and cozy! We also have Private Dinning!

Excellent new menu. A real find if you're looking for a well-priced sit-down meal in the FiDi.

This used to be my "go to" place for business lunches and after work drinks. Under new ownership, the food is inedible. I've tried a number of things but all are terrible. Could anyone ruin a burger? YES. Make it thin and over priced and put it on a Wonder Bread bun and then present it on a tin tray. Their plating is overly pretentious. It is all about looks now and nothing about substance. Service is terrible when they do remember to bring you what you ordered. The music is so loud you can't have a conversation. The bartenders ignore you. Not surprisingly, the after work bar scene is completely gone as is the lunch crowd. It is a "one and done" place with tumbleweed blowing through the empty space.

Horror show at its best! everything that could go wrong, went wrong. main entrees came before drinks!!!! are you kidding me? half the menu did not have produce available, on friday night at 630pm reservation you dont have steaks??? or lobster salad?? 1 item for stale deserts?? mixed up orders, lack of attention and uncooked salmon garanteed. they even managed to add insult to injury by charging 20% gratuity fee. if it wasnt for special occasion and respect for people at the table, whole staff and owner would have been sent marching to go f themselves. apparently you can ignore all previous reviews because the place is under new management, was sold few months ago. STAY AWAY!!

Food was okay, don't order the chicken sandwich. The bread was thicker then the meat.

The service was exceptional since the minute we walked thru the door. A waiter welcomed me and when I told him I had a reservation, they had the table ready. We were lucky to score a table by the window--perfect for people watching. This is centrally located across the street from NY City Hall so its a perfect spot for business meetings. The clientele is clearly business-like around lunch time. The food was delivered in a prompt manner in a nice presentation. They have high ceilings and its quite spacious. I had the turkey sandwich and it was delicious. The bacon was crispy and the bread toasted just right. The fries were freshly made as was the side salad. We were not rushed to leave and the waiter came to the table at the appropriate time to check in on us. We were very satisfied and I will place this restaurant on the rotation.

Since it has the name tower, I thought it would be high with a view. Food wasn't special. Good service and I could talk with friends but disappointed it wasn't a special place for my get together with friends!

Used to go here 2-3 times a week; will go much less often now. For some reason they've changed the décor so it's no longer unique/quirky. Also much less comfortable with the pleather banquette seating, tiny wood tables (used to have ample round tables with tablecloths). The space could be ANYWHERE -- Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Midtown. All personality is gone. The food is quite good, though. Unfortunately, someone decided that the personality of the place had to go. It's a shame. Now rather run-of-the-mill. It's good, but no longer special.
