F.W. Woolworth first opened its doors in Nashville in 1913. The five-and-dime store attracted shoppers looking for quality and value. The lunch counter at Woolworth opened in 1925. All food items on the menu cost no more than ten cents each. Coca-Cola and root beer were sold for five cents.

    They were nearly empty when we arrived. Drinks were pretty timely but our food took forever. Pretty sure the fried green tomatoes were frozen and the mashed potatoes were boxed. Meatloaf was edible, but the sauce it was swimming in was not pleasant and there was far too much of it. Prices were reasonable, but the quality of food was very lacking. I won't be back.

    Front desk was slow and a little lacking in customer service. Food cheap and average. Bill was low, so that was good - not sure if I'll be back, but nice enough.

    Great spot in Nashville for a proper sit-down meal with quality food and atmosphere. The history of the building was also fascinating. I wish the video displayed on the way matched the music they played throughout the restaurant. I think it would've added to the ambiance. Their salad portion was wildly huge. I couldn't finish. Great Southern food and the hot chicken is a classic option!

    I ordered the salmon. It was bland and the broccolini was bitter. Very disappointed in the food. Will not go back!
