   Wow; Had such a great experience I felt a need to share. Went to Wineworks on a Friday night with my son and his girlfriend and had a treat well beyond expectations. Got a reservation late in the afternoon and although the place was full when we got there at 7, it never felt overcrowded. We love wine , but are no means students of the sport. They had a great list of wines at reasonable prices. The food was outstanding. If you go do not miss the mussels or the lamb. Left feeling we had scored on a hidden gem.

   Been coming here for years and eaten here dozens of times. Tonight was awful. Sat for 30 minutes without a sever coming over. It only got worse from there with the table next to us walking out when no one came to see them and servers not noticing they’d left for 20 more minutes. Phone ringing off the hook. Food still good - kitchen staff/cooks deserve a solid front of house staff - but not sure if/when we’ll return. Frustrating to pay for a $200 dinner for someone to sit on their phone and ignore me - I’d much rather support countless other places still hustling like they actually care. C- Kitchen staff still cooking well- but that’s the only compliment I can pay tonight.

   Service was really bad we waited for our server for almost 30minutes didn’t get menus for 20 minutes. I blame the hostess Asian gentleman not very good with communicating to the servers about when he sets his guests,But the food was yummy and the wine that the server suggested was really good.

   I thought it was ok, my husband doesn't want to go back. We came for happy hour and it is only at the bar which was not made clear. No big deal but the service by bartender was disappointing...hard to get his attention or input. At end of meal he was a completely different person ...when he put his hat on MUCH more friendly. I liked my burger, my husband thought his was soggy. We love Dubliner next door so will go back there instead!

   My friends and I have always enjoyed happy hour at Wine Works. Tonight was a little different. Our waitress was great! She did inform us at the beginning of the evening that they needed our table at 7;00, which was fine with us. At around 6:30 the person that cleared our table pretty much booted us out. Not nice! We had such a nice evening until then.🙁

    Fabulous as usual! Service is perfect, helpful but not obtrusive. Had special burger, shared it because it was large, SO delicious!! Actually, I've never had a dish I didn't like. Love the high tops, plenty of room even as you share long table.
