   We were worried it was too fancy of a restaurant but there were tons of people in t-shirts and beachwear while others were dressed up for special occasions. Food was 10/10, waitstaff was friendly and helpful, and the Astros game was on so couldn’t have been better.

   The waiter Robert was very curt. We as to explain btw two types of fish and told he didn’t know. Asked about specials and said there were only off menu items and didn’t tell us any. It was my birthday and didn’t offer any free dessert. Ruined the experience.

   We had lunch at Willy’s after our Dolphin tour. The restaurant was not very busy at the time we got there and we were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess. We chose to sit inside since it was pretty windy outside, but we had a lovely view of the dock. Our server was courteous and very nice. My husband had the Fried Shrimp with French Fries and I had the Chicken Romano. The dishes came out of the kitchen very quickly and both of us enjoyed our meal very much. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Galveston.

   I ordered the fried shrimp with fries and my boyfriend ordered the Del Mar. The fried shrimp lacked flavor and the fries were lukewarm. My boyfriend liked the snapper and said the stuffed shrimp lacked a whole lot of flavor. We loved the atmosphere but for the price, the food was lacking.

   Definitely one of our go-to places in Galveston. Excellent food, good service and you cannot beat the location. Highly recommended.

   I wouldn’t visit is this restaurant again. Service was ok. But, wrong order was brought and the entire table had to wait while they made the correct entree. No concessions were offered for this, which should have been addressed. Food quality was sub par for the prices. I really hope the Willy Gs at post oak is not comparable to this location.

    Food was delicious, Service Excellent! Potatoes not hot & lobster a little under done for my liking but our server provided excellent service !
