Ziza (apologies if I'm mispelling!), the manager of the afternoon tea, was super accommodating for my friend's specific allergies when I called in ahead of time. He also made sure my parents had an excellent experience last time I booked here for them to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Deepak, our server this time, was very attentive, and didn't rush us even when we showed up late after accidentally going to the wrong Peacock Alley (there are two, one at Waldorf Astoria, and one here at Willard Intercontinental, so take care to check you're going to the right one when you head here!) . Overall, excellent experience both times I've been here for afternoon tea. Highly recommend.

My birthday fell on the day of our tea and the staff was very attentive. The setting was exquisite but it was the food that was very disappointing. We had no finger sandwiches or anything hearty. We were shocked to see sushi and ahi tuna at our tea party. The sweets were overly sweet . It was not deserving of $90.00 due to the food shortage,

I would highly recommend! The service was amazing, everyone was so kind. The venue is beautiful and there was lovely harp music to accompany our afternoon tea. The scones were delicious and they were accommodating of food allergies. 10/10, I can’t wait to come back.

Peacock Alley is not only beautiful and elegant, the service is top notch and the food and pastries are homemade and wonderful. Our tea was cherry blossom themed and included a complimentary chocolate “tree” with spun pink sugar as the leaves. So fancy!

I would highly recommend high tea at the Willard Peacock Alley Tea. The atmosphere was soo beautiful with a touch of cherry blooms all around and a beautiful bouquet of tulips on our table. They had a harpist playing amazing beautiful songs the entire time. My tea was fabulous and the sweet treats were fun and different. I only wished they had had more savory options. One was absolutely horrible. BUT if you LOVE eating from the bottom of the ocean you would have loved it LOL The scones were nice but I've had better and fresher for sure. But that was the least of my complaints. Scones are different wherever you go, and everyone has a different palate. The space was gorgeous and so was the experience over all. Everyone was soo friendly and they even brought out a cupcake with a candle for my birthday while the harpist played happy birthday! It's right across from the White House and the entrance into this lovely hotel is stunning too. Book early for sure. But thank you for a lovely time.
