   This was our first time at WildFin and it didn’t disappoint. I was skeptical because you don’t usually find a fine dining restaurant in a shopping center. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the service was spot on; friendly hostess and well trained wait staff. The food was the real star. Two of our foursome ordered the Parmesan crusted sole. Both commented that the dish was delicious. Another of the party ordered the shrimp and scallops. He, too, commented on how exceptional the food tasted. I ordered the “All In” fish and chips. What a score. For the fish, they used hoki which is an excellent selection for a flaky white fish. It was set atop some of the bast fries I’ve ever had. It was served with a wonderful tartar sauce. But that’s not all. The dish came with a cup of fantastic seafood chowder as well as a delicious red cabbage and apple slaw. I can’t tell you how pleased I was with the dish. The only drawback were all the hard surfaces. As the restaurant filled, the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation. While the prices were a little high, considering the quality of the food, it was still a good value. I’ll be back and I would highly recommend WildFin to all my friends.

   The food and service is consistently good. Our only complaint is that the lighting is too bright for dinner and the table and chairs look like they belong in a food court. The ambiance needs some serious help.

   Our anniversary was March 10. My husband physically went in, and asked for a booth and made a reservation on March 5th. We arrived for dinner, all booths were taken, and we were told “tough luck”. We walked out and went to another place nearby. My husband called the manager right after the hostess refused our request, and again, it was “no big deal” they had messed up our reservation. As much as I like the food here, we do not plan to return. Customer service is lacking.

   Very disappointed. Three of the items we wanted to order were out of stock. When asked if their salmon was farm or wild they claimed wild but it turned out to be very bland farm raised salmon. Calamari was really an odd preparation. The only item that was on par was Coke Zero with a lime.

   Very very nice place to take your date. Food was great. Especially garlic prawns and Miso Black Cod. Only side is the price and the portion. Other than that it is great!

    I was hesitant to make a reservation here due to the negative reviews below but I was blown away with how wrong all the reviews really were about this place. It was the first time my husband and I have been there and I can attest that we will be visiting again and again! The food was delicious! The service was amazing. Our server was named Brooke and she was on top of our drinks and our food all came out at a timely matter! We had a great time! Thank you for hosting us for our valentine date! Will definitely recommend to friends!
