Opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar has garnered acclaim, in 2023 being named #2 Canada’s Best New Restaurant in enRoute / Air Canada Magazine and #4 Best New Restaurant on Canada's 100 Best List and securing an overall #31 ranking for 2024.
Vancouver Magazine dubbed it “The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade”.
Wild Blue is a distinguished Whistler fine-dining establishment that is devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients. It is led by an exceptional team of partners: Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director; Chef Alex Chen, 'Iron Chef' and recipient of Chef of the Year accolades by Vancouver Magazine; and Jack Evrensel, a distinguished member of the Restaurant Hall of Fame, who also founded and previously operated Toptable Group. Our Executive Chef, Derek Bendig, adds extensive experience and a classic French and European culinary touch to the culinary artistry of Wild Blue.

    Marie was our server and she was outstanding! Her knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the wonderful dining experience. We had the prix fixe menu with the wine pairing to go along with the dinner. My favourite dishes were the potato and leek soup, smoked sable fish, goose leg confit and warm chocolate fondant cake. I highly recommend these dishes! The sauce that comes with the goose leg confit is one of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted. From the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we walked out, everything was perfect.

    We had the most amazing Spring Set meal with Wine Pairing , which was excellent and the restaurant was a buzzing atmosphere.

    We have been to all the top restaurants in Whistler. Wild Blue is the best by far. The food, management, staff, service and ambience are all outstanding.

    As ever.. the food was wonderful. The service impeccable and the setting and ambiance superb. The best in Whistler. Love it.

    The spring special selections were excellent. Upgrades to the steak but it was a bit overdone but everything from start to finish was excellent so didn’t complain. The $69 wine pairing was perfect.

    Food is exceptional! Every dish is beautifully presented and described by the servers. This is our fourth time dining at Wild Blue and food, drink, and service is consistent. The four course fixed priced menu is a dream experience.

    Simply and outstanding experience. The food, service and ambience were all world class. We enjoyed the Spring 3 course pris fixe menu with the accompanying wine pairings. The sommelier deserves special recognition as her pairing were flawless. Cannot say enough about the experience. Once of the top five from our experiences around the world for sure.
