   We couldn't understand why the place was deserted on a Saturday evening... we soon found out. They brought us a Charcuterie board with no meat. They offered more Bacon Jelly to make up for it. They finally took it off the bill and took the plate away. The waitress had no authority to manage the bill. We left soon after we found hair in the drinks.

   Food was ok. Decent portion size for the price. Food wasn't as hot as it should have been. My boyfriend sent his plate back to get it reheated. The waiter came back out with just the sides and no meat. He was told he was getting a fresh steak. They should have brought the whole plate together. By the time his steak was done he was ready to go and it still wasnt hot. Our anniversary dinner was ruined.

   The food was decent, but the presentation was off. Service was absent. The view is amazing. Been a couple times and it's just too consistently inconsistent to recommend

   Good food, location and service. We were in town for an overnight and found this restaurant online. Glad we did!

   We loved the setting overlooking the Genesee River and the Susan B/Frederick D Bridge. We were looking forward to our first visit to the West Edge--had been here before under different ownership. Wait staff was friendly and took our drink order immediately. We wanted some time to talk and then gave our order about 20 minutes after arriving. Took longer to get our meals than we expected, particularly given the restaurant was only half full. One order came with the wrong side, crab cakes were lukewarm, very little aioli, and not lump crab as the staff person promised, scallops were perfect. Took ten minutes to get the correct side and more aioli. By that time the crab cakes were stone cold. The shared desert--brownie cookie and ice cream--was excellent. However, only one person in our threesome really enjoyed her meal. We'd love to come back--love the setting--but probably won't.

   We were disappointed in everything except the outdoor dining and view. The food was overpriced. The meat and cheese appetizer was an embarrassment for to price. Wine selection was limited and the service was only faor.

   We went to the West Edge for dinner on the 4th of July. For the most part it was very good. My only concerns were any slight modification to the menu cost an additional $5.00 and we were hurried. Our meal came just after we received our appetizer. I ordered a salad and asked them to leave the steak off and they charged me an additional $5.00. I thought that was a bit much...otherwise it was a good experience.

   Great meal. Great service. Great location and abiance overlooking the river and city skyline. Parking was convienent and easy so close to downtown

    Had run out of dessert menu. Food good overall but slightlyoverpriced. Great ambiance.
