Our Old Town fish restaurant has one of the shortest ingredient journeys in Britain! About a minute across the beach from the boats! We're so pleased to be able to offer you the experience of eating a range of carefully prepared fresh fish dishes from the Hastings & Rye fleets at source. Webbes Rock a Nore is an enviable location opposite the net huts and boats of the historic and picturesque Hastings fishing quarter of The Stade. fish and seafood caught and daily in small boats, a journey of a minute across the shingle to the kitchen on arrival,
Other sample dishes include seafood platters, locally smoked fish, Potted Crab, Grilled Dover Sole with Samphire & Winkle Sauce, classic dishes like Cod in Beer Batter with Hand Cut Chips, Gratinated Native Lobster. Not forgetting prime cut steaks.

    This was our first visit and was an excellent experience. The food was marvellous and the staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fish lover.

    Went here for mid week meal with friends. Food was delicious and service was good. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was a quiet mid week evening so difficult to judge ambiance but I'd definitely recommend it and will be going back.

    oysters perfect, small taster plates v good, myvmain plate -panache- v disappointing with tasteless overcooked fish. i was told the fish stew was good though. the Rye branch has turbot on the menu and that was good last time i went there, not on menu at rock a nore unfortunately. wine list ok- the chablis goes down well.

    Outstanding service at this seafront restaurant offering freshly caught local fish. It was a pleasure to eat lunch there. I enjoyed my skate wing and my friend was very happy with her potted crab. Definitely want to visit again.

    This was our second visit, this time bringing friends. Our lunch was the focus of a thoroughly enjoyable day out by the sea. The freshly cooked fish was outstanding, and we liked the friendly, bustling and unpretentious atmosphere.
