   Ten out of ten. Everytime. Luca from Milano. Great service. Incredibly warm hospitality. Oysters, champagne and fries are a trio from the gods and why this is one of my favorite restaurants in SF.

   We were visiting from the East Coast and had high expectations for a quality seafood dining experience and chose the Waterbar. Unfortunately, the ambiance was the only real positive, and we could've gotten that at many other restaurants. The experience began with my Cosmo cocktail, which was overwhelmingly tart and couldn't be enjoyed, so I settled for a replacement vodka & cranberry. The crab in my Crab cocktail was dry - almost like it was previously frozen, and my Swordfish entrée was extremely salty from the soy sauce in the recipe. Even the sautéed spinach was salty, and I don't know how a restaurant couldn't get thar basic recipe right! Anyway, it was not a good experience overall.

   I’m starting to sound like a broken record. There’s something really special about this restaurant and I love dining there and turning friends onto it. Keep up the good work. Especially loved the dessert. I think it was a white custard crunch with rose ice cream. Yum.

   Celebrated my friends 50th dinner here, I wouldn’t say super special but it was good. The outside patio can get cold despite the heater. Service was really good with Chris our server. Food were good too, we had the Dorade, steak and swordfish with the Brussels sprouts and chips.

   We first dined at Waterbar right before COVID. We came back to San Fran this year for family spring break and were definitely happy to see the restaurant was still in operation. Great atmosphere, locations & service.

   Mains were lovely. I should have sent back the oysters after trusting the waitresses hard sell & extreme recommendation. Absolutely tasteless, the most expensive of their selection & Ive never actually seen oysters that small.

   Thank you for your feedback Genene, We really do not receive that type of oyster feedback, our two smallest oysters, Olympia and Kumumoto, are extremely popular. The Olympia's are the smallest oyster we have, as they are the slowest growing oyster there is, and that makes them expensive. Best regards, Rich T.
