   Great location views fantastic, food was of a very good quality. Not the biggest menu for choices. Service was excellent.

   Very nice restaurant. Spoilt by the bill. Service charge included in the bill but when the card handset was given to me they tried to add an additional tip.

   We dined at Wagtail on Friday as two couples it was a very disappointing experience, especially given the hefty £400+ bill. We hadn’t seen each other for ages and were really looking forward to a buzzing night at a top rooftop restaurant, but sadly, it didn’t live up to our expectations. To start, the service was very slow. We had a booking for 7:30 PM, and while we hoped for a lively atmosphere, the restaurant was clearing out by that time and was completely empty by 10:15 PM when we left. We expected to be finished by 9:30 PM at the latest, so that shows the drawn-out pacing. To start I ordered a charcuterie board (£22), expecting a mix of meats and cheeses, but there were only some dry bits of salami and no cheese. When I asked the what meats were included, our waiter had to go and ask. The "pickled" onions were tasteless, as if they hadn’t been pickled at all and frustratingly they had no gluten-free options for the bread. When I asked for GF break, our waiter barked "no" with no alternative suggestion. I ended up giving my bread, which came with the charcuterie board to the others as the burrata / steak tartare didn't come with anything to eat them with (bizarre). When our mains finally arrived, they were lukewarm/cold (linguine, chicken and sea bass). All 3 dishes were bad, but the chicken was particularly disappointing—dry, cold, and underwhelming. For a place that charges premium prices, this was unacceptable and very disappointing. As for drinks - they were overpriced and pretty boring. We expected a bit of theatre for the £17+ prices but they looked like something from Wetherspoons. While the restaurant is beautifully decorated - it's all style no substance. We left feeling disappointed, unsatisfied, bored and overcharged. We wouldn't go back, or recommend this to anyone else.

   Always a pleasure to dine at Wagtail. great staff, friendly and welcoming. Good views with a nice terrace option for dining and a bar above the restaurant for afterwards, Not the most extensive menu, but what they do, they do very well.

   I got an Aperol Spritz for £17 with service charge. Servers were quite rude and unpleasant. The view was lovely with the Shard.
