   Gathered at Von Ebert for Happy Hour to celebrate a retirement. The space was perfect for our group. Happy Hour prices are super reasonable. Beer and food was tasty and quick to come out. Overall great experience. We will be back!

   One of the better dinners we have had here! Great tap selection and the game room was a hit with the kids!

   The food was amazing. The service was extremely poor. No one came to refill drinks. We had to chase someone down to get the tab. This was a professional group and felt frustrated with the lack of service.

   It was fine. I know that doesn’t sound like much of a review, but there was nothing that stood out as good or bad.

   Would not recommend. Service was terrible. No acknowledgment from the staff on entering and ordering was only through QR code/online. They were out of a lot of items on the menu by dinner time and the burgers were mediocre, at best.

   I really wanted to give this place a great review, but my visit was sub par. It is one of the few quality spots in my hood and I have a gotten a pint of brew here numerous times and wanted try the food. You don’t really get table service here due to all ordering taking place through an app (cutting labor costs?). So nobody came and checked how the food was or if we got our orders correctly. I ordered a double cheeseburger burger that came on a toaster oven tray. I asked (or checked the box in the app) for blue cheese on the burger and got like 2 tiny crumbs of blue cheese, I also requested no tomatoes and got tomatoes. The burger was tiny, smaller than the bun.The truffle fries were tasty but a small portion. I was informed I got the last burger and that they were running low on ketchup?! The place had empty tables. It was Father’s Day, how do you not expect a crowd and run out of burgers? Since an app is used to order nobody came to see if we needed a to-go box or wanted dessert (probably need to use the app). My kids cheese pizza was lackluster, fortunately my wife liked her salad. They do have a game room with darts etc. Since it is the only brewpub for miles I will be back for a beer (s) (which are excellent), but not sure if I will bring the family for dinner again. Fireplace is nice though. Actual table service would make a massive difference. When your order is not correct or there is no water at your table (went and got some), are you supposed to message your server through the cumbersome app? Lol.

   There was absolutely no reason for me to make a reservation. They do not have wait staff. Their employees were unprepared for our arrival. We took a random table, ordered on an app, got our own water and place settings. This might be fine for someone who is looking to eat after a round of golf, but definitely not the place for a special occasion.

   Loved the smokey BBQ smell walking in! Food was delicious. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to use the fully automated ordering app and 1 person in our group accidentally ordered 2 meals but the waiter quickly rectified that for us. Whew! Loved the golf course view and cocktail options and best was optionally taking a walk around the course after dinner.

   Von Eberts hosted our family Easter Dinner. We had 18 members of our family attend. The food was great and priced reasonably. Our server was great! Very tentative. We will be booking again for future family events.

    The service was perfect for our large group, and we had a room to ourselves. The menu choices were mostly fine, but a few of the group thought some of the items, such as a brisket sandwich, were dry. Also the price was at the upper end for this type of place, though one has to keep in mind that it is right at the golf course, so there is a lot to be said for that convenience. I will be glad to come here again, just with a few folks or for the group - just saying honestly these couple of things.
