   Good food in a lovely atmosphere. Tables are well spaced to allow for a degree of privacy.

   Lovely atmosphere with an open fire. Really cozy and great for family dinning. The food was ok but the service really good! On a Friday night, they had a live band too!

   Although the food was good the fact that there was only two staff on duty made it hard for the poor waitress and bar man. Perhaps staffing levels should be reviewed especially at this time of year. I would like to point out that the waitress was brilliant!!

   Sorry to say but this time the hunters chicken was very dry and a bit of a burnt taste the fish was not cooked properly I e half was nearly raw. Service this time was very bad bar man had to clear the table had to ask at the bar twice for a drink for the table some of the chips were very greasy???? ,Once the regular waitress went home that’s when the service went downhill and it did take over 2 Hours to get served the two children with us did get very tired. Sorry to have such a rant but we do go there quite often Regards Fred Carter

   My food was lovely but two of the people I was with said thei food was cold and sent it back.

   The main bar was active & friendly but the restaurant rathy empty. Unfortunately the waitress was cutting lemons rather than looking out for customers - there were 2 groups of people in front of us! The waiter however worked his socks off. Food was nice & we had a table for the 4 of us & were able to have a catch up without being overhead by anyone else. The bar side was busier in a less formal way.,

   All the food was lovely and tasted delicious. The pub set up is very appealing.

   The waitress was extremely good and nothing was too much trouble but the food was average and the three meals ordered was not delivered all together.

   Went to the White Hart for Mother's Day, big mistake. Even with a reduced menu for the day, service was very slow and the whole meal took over 3 hours. The restaurant seemed totally unprepared for Mother's Day trade in terms of kitchen and serving staff. Also the restaurant was too hot and our table was situated next to a large radiator which was so hot you could hardly touch it.
