   If you understand that what this restaurant values most is its trademark and traditions, then you will not expect more of it. This is an old-school dining experience. It will not stack up against the more modern food/dining experiences that are available in the city, but it still aims to deliver a quaint atmosphere with a quality service. The food was fresh, served hot, but is lacking the finesse you might expect of a higher end restaurant nowadays. This is a good place for seniors who want to feel fancy but comfortable, while still being able to recognize the menu items and order some old favorites.

   Very disappointing. Quality has really gone down. Had to return my meal because lobster was undercooked only to be replaced by a raw one!!! No quality control out of the kitchen or from the server. Not worth the money. We won't return.

   We absolutely loved our evening from being greeted to our waiter and the food…superb.

   Service was very good, restaurant is very dated as was the food, very much a 70s steak house that hasn’t changed since the 70s. The food was ok but no creativity.

   This is a lovely restaurant. It was wonderful to meet up with a friend and have a wonderful meal there. I enjoyed the crab-cakes, steak and lobster and the crème brûlée. All the food was made to perfection. Our waiter was fantastic and a wonderful gentleman. I heavily recommended people to enjoy a good meal and great service there. I will definitely be coming back.

    We had the most wonderful evening at your beautiful restaurant. The ambiance was so tasteful. We were fortunate to have a table for two by the window and there was subtle candlelight, white linen tablecloths and the best waiter one could ask for. Bob told us he had been working for Victoria Harbour House for 45 years and he made our evening. The food was superb. I had the pan fried sole that melted in your mouth and my husband started with the escargot which he said were prepared exactly the way they should have been. His pasta with prawns was also perfect. Also, don’t go home without having the creme brûlée. If we ever manage to move to Victoria your restaurant will be our Number 1 for dining out. Thank you so much and we hope Bob will always be there!
