   For me it was a very noisy environment. We had a roast dinner and the vegetables didn't taste very nice, the starter was nice. I had two scoops of ice-cream (£3.60) for my sweet they looked lost in the dish they could have been dressed up a bit perhaps a biscuit, crumb sprinkles just something to make you feel your getting value. Would I go back? If I did I wouldn't have a roast or ice cream.

   We stayed at the Hotel for 2 nights, both of which we ate at the restaurant in the evening. The menu was good, the food was prepared well and was tasty. The service was great and the staff were friendly.

   It was like eating in a canteen and people were eating with there coat on as it was cold in the large room

   Have eaten here in the past and enjoyed it, but the food quality seems to have deteriorated. As a family of 6, we ate a selection of dishes from the menu but all were only average in quality. The restaurant was empty, with only 2 or 3 tables to cover which was shame for Friday evening. If you want to support an independent, then go here however if you just want tried and tested pizza and pasta with the family, sadly the chains offer better quality and value for money, and that’s where we’d go in the future.

   First time here and I was very disappointed. The atmosphere and ambiance was non existent and completely lets this place down. It’s basically a large room or hall that’s let out for functions, with tables positioned randomly. The food was mediocre, fatty roast beef, undercooked roast potatoes and veg. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning.

   Excellent meal. Kids catered for despite them requiring food not on the menu. Happy experience for us all.

    A fantastic, tasty meal with good size portions and great service. I totally recommend and would definitely go back myself.
