   Was not open. Why is it still possible to book given that it is closed! We wasted our time and struggled to find anywhere else to eat that wasn't booked.

   Booked restaurant for daughters 16 birthday. Travelled into Manchester from Buxton. On arrival restaurant closed, scrappy note on door saying not open today. Completely wasted journey that could have been avoided by contacting customers with bookings. Ruined my daughters birthday celebrations. Total disregard for customers. Will we book again NO. Will we be sharing our negative views of this restaurant business ABSOLUTELY YES

   Food not as good as expected, also lots of small flies hanging round in the toilet and whilst we were eating. Very annoying

   Booked into Vertigo Cross Street for my birthday as the First Street branch (which we love) was full, but was really disappointed. The food and the service were ok, but the environment was horrible. As soon as we walked in we were hit by the smoky air and burning smell, which didn't dissipate the whole time we were there and ended making our eyes sting after a while. There were loads of little flies buzzing around us the whole time, and the toilet was filthy. The staff were friendly and obviously working really hard, but it felt a bit chaotic and I got the impression they were quite junior and there was no one supervising. The place could really do with a good clean and some ventilation - especially during a pandemic. Won't be going back to this branch.

   Three of us, all vegetarian so fine with vegan, planned a meal here before going to the Royal Exchange ( very convenient location for this). Service, food and ambience all good. We had all eaten there before so knew what to expect. It's also reasonably priced so has probably become our favourite for the nowadays (sadly) rare excursions into Manchester.

   The restaurant was cold and covered in leaves as they couldn’t close the doors so it wasn’t a comfortable environment. The food was average as was the service.

   The food was wonderful! I have ordered takeaway from here before and I knew that the portions would be big so I ordered two small plates. My Mum got a small and a big but she couldn't finish it all, even though it was delicious. Neither of us are vegans. The restaurant was very quiet (this was dinner on a Friday night) and everything felt very relaxed. The music was nice but not too loud so we could have a proper catch up and the staff were very friendly but gave us lots of space. I will definitely go again!

    The service was a bit too relaxed and the table was too small. But the food and drinks were tasty.
