Join us to experience the finely crafted red wines of Poderi Colla, from Piedmonte Italy. We will be exploring Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto followed by four vintages of their iconic Barolo wine alongside an expertly paired menu from Chef Oscar Torres. The wines will be presented by the estates' General Manager Andrea Zarattini. *Please note this dinner will be communal seating* There will be an opportunity to purchase some wines from the estate following dinner. About Poderi Colla: The Colla family has been a winemaking family in the Langhe since the beginning of the 18th century but despite their long history, Poderi Colla is one of the newest estates in the region. It was started in 1994 by Tino Colla and his niece, Frederica (the daughter of the legendary winemaker Beppe Colla of Prunotto fame). Beppe Colla bought Prunotto in 1956 and made his first single vineyard wines in 1961. He was one of the first winemakers to focus on bottling single vineyard wines across his entire range. Beppe's calling card became his Barolo Bussia and it remained his favorite vineyard until he sold Prunotto in 1990. What is now Poderi Colla is the product of thirty years of experience from owning Prunotto and vinifying nearly all the great vineyards of Barolo and Barbaresco. Beppe, Frederica, and Tino used their intimate understanding of vineyards throughout the region to buy three specific estates. Those three estates now comprise Poderi Colla.

Overall the ambience and the service were the greatest thing about this restaurant in my personal opinion. Set in an acoustic recording studio room. The music was very enjoyable. They have a good selection of international wine as well.

Wow! This was a top notch LA experience from food to atmosphere to service. Verse is designed for both the foodie & music enthusiast. Restaurant is artful designed to give their patrons a live music experience along with gourmet filled plates. Every seat is carefully designed to make sure the acoustics are perfect for live music. Each detail from table settings to the the bill is designed to be just a touch more than you expect.

Verse is in a class of its own—more than a restaurant, it’s a fully immersive experience. The atmosphere is sleek yet warm, with an undeniable vibe that sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. I happened to be there during a live jazz performance, which added the perfect touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space. It was my second time dining here, and once again, from the starter to the main dish, everything was exceptional. The food is crafted with both flavor and presentation that are as unique as the space itself. Each dish feels intentional, like a work of art designed to surprise and satisfy. Don’t skip their creative cocktails, and whatever you do, get the Buns—they’re a must. Verse consistently delivers a refined yet soulful experience that keeps you coming back.

While we enjoyed the food in the moment, unfortunately two of us that had shared the same dishes got extremely (intestinally) sick 2 hours later and had a horrible time all night.

Our experience was amazing from the moment we walked in. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary and were treated to a very special surprise. After our surprise treat we were seated. The service was impeccable and every course was great. We really enjoyed our anniversary.

The meal was absolutely A+. In fact, we could not stop ordering food. From the curated cocktails to the starters to the meal to the dessert, every single item was five stars! This is a hidden gem in Los Angeles! And by the way, when you visit, don't forget to order the milk buns! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
