   This was our first visit to Veraisons and it was perfect! From the salad to the desserts, everything was delicious. The wine pairing selection was on point. This is a must if you are in the area!

   I had made reservations on Opentable for 6:30 a week ahead of time since we vacationing there. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had our reservation but told us that there was a wedding party that would be taking up the entire space of the restaurant and that we would be seated in the "secondary" dining area. We were led downstairs to what I can only describe as a large office space or small conference room (with a window wall) with absolutely no atmosphere at all. Needless to say...we left. I understand about booking a wedding but what bothered me was that the restaurant should have called guests and informed them beforehand that due to the wedding we would not be in the main dining area...which is one of the important parts of the dining experience. I could have planned something else and totally understood the situation, but instead, we drove 30 minutes to be annoyed. Bad business. I honestly can't speak to the food here. The only reason I gave it (food) 3 stars was because I had to fill that area in to get to write a review and I met someone that ate there for lunch the same day and said it was good.

   This place has the potential to be a terrific restaurant- HOWEVER- the food is overpriced and honestly, terrible. Out of 4 people in our party, 3 of us sent things back. VERY disappointing. Go for the wine or for a few appetizers and enjoy the gorgeous view, but don’t waste your money on a meal.

   Two couples celebrated a birthday on a weekend trip to the Finger Lakes. Wanting a special place, we chose Veraisons and we’re all glad we did. Diverse menu. Great wine list. Very good service. All of our food was nicely presented, served at appropriate temperature and most importantly was very tasty. A slight downside was that entrees were a little slow to arrive at table, but we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t bother us. We’ll definitely return to Veraisons

   Visiting Watkins Glen for a race and heard about this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend sitting outdoors, the view is incredible. My husband and I are not wine experts, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Glenora wine and the cheese plate was amazing! This place exceeded our expectations, the little extras such as bread and homemade chocolate were a delicious surprise, and the service was outstanding. We hope to make this a regular stop whenever we are in the area.

   Was placed in smaller dining room as a result of a wedding. Web site said views from this dining room were good but we were placed in a location with obstructed view. For that reason, was not as enjoyable. Nevertheless food and service were excellent

   Lunch on the deck in a spectacular summer day with a very helpful waitress. She not only found me two glasses of the wine I was hoping to try, recommended delicious foods, but also took a picture of my husband and I enjoying the day!

   The food was very good. My filet was a bit overcooked, but still good. All of us enjoyed our food. The menu is fairly small, but we all managed to find something we liked. Our wait staff was excellent. The water service was especially good. We sat in the "wine cellar" which overlooks the vineyard. It is a small dining room in the basement. It can get a bit noisy in the basement when all the tables are full. The main dining room was used for a wedding party. This is true almost every Saturday in the summer.
