The ambiance and cocktails were 10/10. In the future, we will only come for drinks. The food is overpriced for the quality. Also, Venus doesn't seem to know what kimchi is in their description for kimchi fries. There was no pickled cabbage and really only a paprika seasoning. Just didn't feel like we got what we paid for. Server was a bit short when asking about this as well.

Venus is always great. The Bloody Mary Sampler was very interesting as it moved from Vodka to Tequila. I had The Cure (without the house Bloody Mary) and my wife had the Reuben. Both were fresh and excellent. Great Saturday mid-day treat.

Had a really great time! They were able to easily accommodate our group of 8 and we tried an assortment of things which were all delicious! Especially the frozen Paloma. That’s my favorite drink in town! Wish the Aptos location had a bigger menu as that location is more convenient. But will go back!

The Cure cheeseburger with bacon and a fried egg is the BEST burger I’ve had in years! I wish it was on the regular menu and not just weekend brunch.
